Perseverance

Since I am struggling to keep on the track I chose, trying not to loose faith, these weeks' synchronicity brought me all these:
Hard working loved ones who also tend to loose faith (they feel it slipping away together with their sweat);
beloved ones that are snowbound, having no electricity and water and trying to endure the polar temperatures;
sick people that feel hopeless during their relapses;
people that lost their beloved ones;
 people with years' hard work that lost their accomplishments in the crisis or during natural disasters;
 people with no shelter, home or hope, forgotten by everyone...

And synchronicity brought me today also some posts of my fb friends, where they deal with similar things and questions.

What keeps us standing, when our hopes and dreams seem to crush and life seems risky, dangerous, unjust, hopeless and unbearable?

Among many other things, today I will say: perseverance.

This is what is left when all our other assets are gone. This is our deep core, deep like the earth's core. And this can bring us back on track.

I wrote that again, we people are much more stronger than we think. And we can change things, we can do unimaginable things, if we can dream them and if we PERSEVERE with them.

Many people get disappointed when they cannot reach their dream. Many also get disappointed when they finally reach their dream, but suddenly realize that there is much more struggle ahead of them in order to keep it alive. The answer to both situations is PERSEVERANCE.

We are in this together, no matter how lonely or disconnected each one of us may feel. We try to make this world a better place, through our individual (or not so individual) efforts: we raise kids, we provide services, we rescue, heal and protect humans and animals, we fight for human rights, we cultivate earth, we produce useful things that everyone needs, we create art, we create beauty, we educate, we share, we nurture, we love. And even if we do nothing of the above, we still try to survive, in order to live our life and do no harm to anyone. Each of us is valuable. Each of us is a piece of this huge puzzle.
And let our perseverance guide us during the moments we loose faith.

We have no other choice.
